OFIS brings together individuals, corporations, and foundations to expand access to mentorship, learning experiences, and opportunities that prepare the next generation to apply science in real-world contexts.

From initial exposure to leadership, OFIS supports young people at every stage of their development through science, mentorship, and real-world application.
OFIS equips young people to explore challenges in their communities, work with mentors to apply science, and develop solutions through Science Engagement Projects.
Contributions support mentorship teams, virtual programming, community talks, and professional development opportunities that prepare participants for pathways in STEM and science-adjacent fields.
We partner with individuals, corporations, and foundations to support and grow this work—through contributions, sponsorship, and collaboration.
